For the 4th time Campus Idar-Oberstein opens its workshops during the International Summer Academy to jewellery designers and students from all over the world.
In nine different workshops, instructed by renowned artists, participants will be able to discover new artistic horizons and techniques to be implemented into their own artistic practice.
The two-week programme gives you the option to choose your own focus and to participate either in one course or in two workshops. Workshops will be held by artists from Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Portugal, and Spain. In addition to the workshops, there will be opportunities to participate in excursions to jewellery merchants, as well as visits to the agate and copper mines within the Idar-Oberstein area. The International Summer Academy tries to create grounds for exchange between participants, enabling them to integrate their experiences into their jewellery creations.
